I actually managed to wake up at 7.00 am and go for the exercise, but other than that, I stayed at home the whole day, mainly browsing through the internet. Then I saw a blog post on make-up in a Korean website, which instantly inspired me - well okay nothing great, but I suddenly had this urge to follow the steps too; after all I had nothing to do (...although I had to clean up, but whatever.. I'll do it later).

This is
Lee Hyori, a really popular, 'sexy-icon', female Korean singer. I personally think that makeup on her face just makes her look, really, just,
prettyyyy. Well by no means I attempted to follow
this, but yeah, just showing you the inspiration of the day (this picture was in that blog post, by the way)
Okah. I actually bothered to take pictures step-by-step.. and here is our
starting point:

Oh my goodness.
I'm sorry people. I don't know where I get the guts to commit such crime. But hey.. this IS the starting point. That's all I'm trying to say.
Alright, let me first show you my
baby...

the
"Valley of the Stars" kit by Benefit: this includes the face highlighters/illuminators
Highbeam and
Moonbeam, the lipgloss
Her Glossiness, and the eyeshadows 'Tequila gold' and 'Snow white'. I just love this. Pretty stuff. Got this for my nineteenth birthday, and just lovin' it.
Anyways, as a first step, I've used the 'Tequila gold' eyeshadow just to apply to my entire eyelids as a base:

Er.... yeeeaaah. I know you can't see anything. I agree. But if you see it in real life, you would be able to notice the really subtle, slight, pearly things on the eyelids. Believe me.
Dior eyeshadow pallette. I had this since like...... year 11. HAHA. Yeah I know right. I'm pretty sloppy at using eyeshadows, so I barely used them. But I will try to make better use of this.

Erm, yes. I applied two shades from the pallette; the one on the upper left and the one at the bottom left. Of course I applied the lighter shade first and then the darker shade. Then it kinda looked like this:

And then here is our next step, eyeliner:
Pencil Perfect eyeliner by L'OREAL, which I purchased recently at a pharmacy. It's alright, usable, one good thing is that you don't have to sharpen it. Which is also one of the reasons why I bought it. Well anyway, so I drew along the lashlines, for both upper and bottom lines:

..something like that!

Here is my another baby;
Shiseido Eyelash curler. As I mentioned before, got it from
Siaw Hui and Karman :) Nyahaha. By the way, please do ignore the..
pencil and
my mobile and the
graphical calculator..
Not supposed to be there.

Curl lashes..

AHAHAHAHAHA. Look at that 'folding' of my eyelid. I know that's nowhere near being double eyelid, but whatever. HAHAHA. Just wanted to show you people things like this actually does happen to my eyelids too. Cheh. HAHAHA
Oh by the way I applied a little amounts of the 'Snow white' eyeshadow along the lower lashes (the Benefit one up there) too.
Virtuose mascara by Lancome. You know what, it's really sad, I practically
ran out of this stuff. So to be honest applying this doesn't exactly make much difference, but whatever. I tried.

Okay, by now my eyes are looking like above. Do you see the difference? Do you??
..Buuuutttt, that, my friends, is not exactly the end.
Blusher. I don't really know which brand it is. Had it since long time ago.

....Sorrrryyy once again, guys. I... tried... (to.. pose? HAHAHA)

Applying the
her glossiness lipgloss... (yes, with posing, I knoww. I know nobody actually applies lipgloss like that.)

A little closeup picture. .... HAHA.
And just to wrap it up.......................

There it was! How I spent almost the whole of today's evening.... (including writing up this long post!)
Well, I know it's not that great and ermmm I do lack a lot of things and skills :S But ohwellll... one day I'll improve I guess. :P
By the way, I really do think cosmetics can do wonders. HAHA Just compare my before and after pictures!
...Or maybe I'm not supposed to be happy about saying this. HAHA.
Cheers,
clare.
