Met up with Seo Hee unnie and Ji Won unnie yesterday at San Churro :)

Seo Hee unnie & Ji Won unnie

Churros with the melted chocolate! gahhh yummyyyy :D

I first met them through the subject Intercultural Communication, which I took for my breadth this semester. It's kinda like a special case 'cause Ji Won unnie came to study at our uni just for a semester as an exchange student from Korea (she actually studies in the Seoul National University yo. How cool huh?) and Seo Hee unnie only took that subject as kinda like a breadth (I believe they call it an 'elective subject' rather than 'breadth subject' before the Melbourne Model.. whatever) as she's majoring (or major-ed, should I say) in commerce and now she's graduating and going back to Korea. And well, I'm doing engineering and took this subject purely out of interest anyway (it's an Arts subject by the way).. so yeap I'd say it isn't a very normal case. Although I've only known them for like a semester, they are really nice unnies to get to know and I did become pretty close with them.. especially with Ji Won unnie 'cause we actually worked on the second assignment together (H1, yo. NYAHAHAH). It's a shame that I won't get to see them anymore! Well, I may be able to see Ji Won unnie again 'cause she's not going back to Korea till like next month anyway, but yeah not really likely that I'll get to see Seo Hee unnie again :( Nevertheless, I wish all the best for both of them. =)

Seo Hee unnie treated both of us with coffee and that yummy churros up there. Gahhh really, having churros with melted choc and a cup of hot coffee when the weather is all cold and crappy (was raining outside) is pretty nice, I must say. We talked there for about an hour, and then went to PhotoPlus... what we did there, better explained by the picture:

Yeaps, sticker photos. Well okay they aren't stickers, strictly speaking, but yeah. The picture quality here looks pretty sucky because it's scanned. Anyways these do look more decent in real life :)

Right after this Seo Hee unnie had to leave, sadly :( . I guess she has a lot of things to do before she leaves, so yeaap.

Okayyy afterwards, me and Ji Won unnie weren't really sure what to do (and we didn't want to go home at that point) so we just went around Melbourne Central and Myer doing nothing else but..... to take pictures. Random pictures.

Oh, I love children's section. Such interesting place to take good pictures. :)

Aaaaaah tired. It's like 12.44 am here and I'm talking to my sister over Skype. And she's coming here to Melbourne on the 6th of December (that's like, next week!). Gaaahhh can't wait!!!
Alrights. Will come back soon with some other stuff~ Think I should sleep soon.. and think about what to do tomorrow :)

Day out 2711.

This post should've been on since yesterday, but I came home late and I was tired and couldn't be bothered to turn on my laptop. So here we go now :)

Erm well. So. I went out yesterday, alone.
Honestly the primary purpose of me going out to the city was... to buy a pair of shoes.

I was pretty desperate you see; as I have already told some of you people over MSN, I basically had two pairs of shoes that I could possibly wear at the moment under the current weather condition:

1. Those black heels I got from Charles & Keith back in Brunei.
2. Converse. Navy blue one; and thats like a size bigger than my actual feet size (don't ask me why).

You can clearly see why I was so desperate to buy shoes that I actually went out alone.

Okay whatever. So I took a tram in front of my apartment and headed to the Melbourne Central. But you know what's amazing? I actually managed to buy a pair within... less than the first 30 minutes of "looking around". Before the story, let me just show you how it looks like:

Something like that. Well I bought this with almost no hesitation because... firstly these are flat and comfortable.. and I wanted gold coloured ones anyway. But most of all.....

I bought this for AU$50.00 when the originial price was like, EIGHTYSOMETHING bucks.
Okay, so that's not THAAAAT amazing. Obviously, not as emotionally touching as that time when I got a top from French Connection for AU$29.90 which actually costed like AU$99.90 originally. But yeah, not too bad right?

Well alright. So after I bought this pair (and wore them as soon as I paid the money), I had nothing else planned to do, but I didn't want to go home right away. So I just.. roamed around the city. And guess what I took pictures of:

[How Santa Really Works]

Found these adorable things in front of David Jones. Gosh, really really cute. Only if I was like, erm, 10 years younger, I might have believed all these. Incluidng the presence of that Christmas College of Elves. Aww. Well nevertheless.. after all, Christmas is coming! :) Yay.

So after this I was about to walk away from David Jones, until I spotted the paradise of cosmetic brands counters inside it. I HAD to go and look, even though I knew I wasn't gonna buy anything (more like couldn't really afford to buy anything). However, unfortunately I couldn't take any pictures there 'cause like, erm, it would've been pretty embarassing with all these people and the shop assistants who would have given me the "looks"; well in normal circumstances I might have took some pictures (y'know, me being the camwhore and loving the camera and all, you guys know that) but I was alone so yeah. HAHA. So I have no choice but to just use those pictures on the internet. ANYWAY, let me just summarise with the two most remarkable products I had a look at:

1. MAC Strobe Cream.
This one, I actually heard of it before, from my friend Jenny; she told me this apparently has pretty good reviews and all (not that I actually checked it yet) etc.. and so when I saw the sample of this at the counter, I applied some on my hand. And well, it was pretty nice; looks very glowy and dewy. I mean I'm not really sure how it'd look on the face (which is like the main purpose) but yeah. The two main facts I got from the shop assistant was that

1. "It makes your face glow."

2. "It's fifty-five dollars."

Yeap. One day I ought to try this.

2. Shu Uemura 24K Gold Eyelash Curler.

Oh my gosh. Look at it, folks. How pretty!
You should see it in real life. Especially the box. I don't know, when I first saw it I was just like - WOW! even though I kinda thought making an eyelash curler out of like 24K gold is like, err wth? but hey if you were rich enough, who cares right? It's cool.
Well not that I really want an eyelash curler at the moment, because I own the SUPERCOOL eyelash curler from Shiseido, thanks to Siaw Hui and Karman :) (aw I still remember that day! thanks!). But hey... worth noting. After all, the two top brands that are famous for eyelash curlers are Shiseido and Shu Uemura anyway.

Woah that was long. Yes that's what happened yesterday basically. Will come back soon again with some other interesting (haha) stories!

First post.

Hi all you people out there :)

I thought I'd never make a blog. Firstly because I'm one hell of a lazy person, and secondly my life isn't all that interesting (unfortunately) to blog about it.. but then again, there are also reasons why I should just do it:

1. I have a camera (..haha)
2. I'm not in Brunei anymore
3. My exams are over. OVER OVER OVER.
4. My friends insisted me of making one

And, er, many more.

Well but how I really got to make the account like yesterday was... well let me just firstly say that I got a phone call at like 7:00 am yesterday morning. I think I was dreaming. About.. I don't know, but yes I was. Anyways, and suddenly I heard Alex (of Clazziquai) singing... to me? and when I opened my eyes, my phone was ringing. (I'm just trying to say that my rington is "Romeo&Juliet" by Clazziquai) Well yes so I, in an unattractive sleepy voice, said "..Elllo?" and in turn heard another "Hello~?" from......... Shivani :)

Then we had such an interesting and productive conversation as usual, and then at one point she was like:

"Hey Clare, you know about the blog - I think you should make it now, now that your exams and everything are over, you have no excuse."

Yes, thinking about it, I have no excuse. HAHA.
And I don't know, I suddenly had this thought, hey it might be fun after all. Why not, right? HAHA.

Yeaaaaap, so there it is, my utterly interesting story of "How Clare decided to make a blog" :) Hope all of you enjoyed MUAHAHA.

Okay, by now, most of you are going like "Eww, why so many words? No pictures? You suck." so errrm... I decided to post some pictures of myself (even though you wouldn't particularly want to see them but like I care? nyahaha).. I mean, I didn't see most of you reading this blog for like.. months or even years!

Okay, I hope you guys didn't go like AW MY EYEEEEEEE! like that fish guy from the Spongebob Squarepants Movie when King Neptune took off his crown and showed his balding head (I seriously hope any of you guys actually remember this scene.... I know you guys DEFINITELY watched it, Shiv and Suse)

Alrighttttey. I actually have more things to write about, like about my DAY rather than erm.. this. But that would be quite irrelevant to the nature of this post (this one being the first one and all) so I'll just do that on the next post.
