This post should've been on since yesterday, but I came home late and I was tired and couldn't be bothered to turn on my laptop. So here we go now :)
Erm well. So. I went out yesterday,
alone.
Honestly the primary purpose of me going out to the city was... to buy a pair of shoes.
I was pretty desperate you see; as I have already told some of you people over MSN, I basically had two pairs of shoes that I could possibly wear at the moment under the current weather condition:
1. Those black heels I got from Charles & Keith back in Brunei.
2. Converse. Navy blue one; and thats like a size bigger than my actual feet size (don't ask me why).
You can clearly see why I was so desperate to buy shoes that I actually went out alone.
Okay whatever. So I took a tram in front of my apartment and headed to the Melbourne Central. But you know what's amazing? I actually managed to buy a pair within... less than the first 30 minutes of "looking around". Before the story, let me just show you how it looks like:
Something like that. Well I bought this with almost no hesitation because... firstly these are flat and comfortable.. and I wanted gold coloured ones anyway. But most of all.....
I bought this for AU$50.00 when the originial price was like, EIGHTYSOMETHING bucks.
Okay, so that's not THAAAAT amazing. Obviously, not as emotionally touching as that time when I got a top from French Connection for AU$29.90 which actually costed like AU$99.90 originally. But yeah, not too bad right?
Well alright. So after I bought this pair (and wore them as soon as I paid the money), I had nothing else planned to do, but I didn't want to go home right away. So I just.. roamed around the city. And guess what I took pictures of:
[How Santa Really Works]

Found these adorable things in front of
David Jones. Gosh, really really cute. Only if I was like, erm, 10 years younger, I might have believed all these. Incluidng the presence of that
Christmas College of Elves. Aww. Well nevertheless.. after all,
Christmas is coming! :) Yay.
So after this I was about to walk away from David Jones, until I spotted the paradise of cosmetic brands counters inside it. I HAD to go and look, even though I knew I wasn't gonna buy anything (more like couldn't really afford to buy anything). However, unfortunately I couldn't take any pictures there 'cause like, erm, it would've been pretty embarassing with all these people and the shop assistants who would have given me the "looks"; well in normal circumstances I might have took some pictures (y'know, me being the camwhore and loving the camera and all, you guys know that) but I was alone so yeah. HAHA. So I have no choice but to just use those pictures on the internet. ANYWAY, let me just summarise with the two most remarkable products I had a look at:
1. MAC Strobe Cream.

This one, I actually heard of it before, from my friend
Jenny; she told me this apparently has pretty good reviews and all (not that I actually checked it yet) etc.. and so when I saw the sample of this at the counter, I applied some on my hand. And well, it was pretty nice; looks very glowy and dewy. I mean I'm not really sure how it'd look on the face (which is like the main purpose) but yeah. The two main facts I got from the shop assistant was that
1. "It makes your face glow."
2. "It's fifty-five dollars."
Yeap. One day I ought to try this.
2. Shu Uemura 24K Gold Eyelash Curler.

Oh my gosh. Look at it, folks. How pretty!
You should see it in real life. Especially the box. I don't know, when I first saw it I was just like - WOW! even though I kinda thought making an eyelash curler out of like 24K gold is like, err wth? but hey if you were rich enough, who cares right? It's cool.
Well not that I really want an eyelash curler at the moment, because I own the SUPERCOOL eyelash curler from Shiseido, thanks to Siaw Hui and Karman :) (aw I still remember that day! thanks!). But hey... worth noting. After all, the two top brands that are famous for eyelash curlers are Shiseido and Shu Uemura anyway.
Woah that was long. Yes that's what happened yesterday basically. Will come back soon again with some other interesting (haha) stories!
